Burrowa-Pine Mountain National Park
Illustration, graphic design, sculpture design
Landscape architect firm Partnear commissioned Design Salad and Copy Circle, in collaboration with Towong Shire Council to design interpretive signage for visitors at the base of Pine Mountain on the Great River Road in the Upper Murray region of Victoria.
The brief was to educate visitors about local Flora, Fauna, Geology, First Nations and Black Summer bushfires. It was to be creative while also adhering to the Upper Murray brand guidelines.
I drew over 30+ hand drawn illustrations of local animals and plant species, then combined this with engaging words by Copy Circle into signage for both adults and children.
We included playful elements like a bird-spotting challenge, spinning cubes with a puzzle, botanical illustrations + naughts and crosses, and true scale metal cutout sculptures of local animals.
